Welcome

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my campaign. My objective is to effectively represent the constituents of the district and advance the issues important to them.

In order to accomplish this objective, I plan to approach the job from the perspective of representing the constituents exclusively. I feel that the taxpayers are often removed from the top of the priority list when decisions regarding expenditure of tax revenues or use of city assets are made. Many times they are replaced by special interests or political ´insiders´. On my watch, the taxpayers will always be the top priority in the decision process. I take pride in the fact that I do not have ties to politicians and other ´well connected´ interests that often have influence at city hall and receive benefits from city approved expenditures and other financial decisions.

Because this is my objective, I plan on developing relationships with the constituents of the district and not the special interests and others whom I do not represent. Issues such as reducing neighborhood crime, rebuilding infrastructure, increasing flood control, mobility, and public health have no room for ´special interest´ priorities. The voices of those interests are already well represented at city hall. I will be the voice for the constituents- the taxpayers of District C.
